Colour

A few days ago marpaul blipped the Rhododendron in Bitts Park and said they were at their best at the moment - she was right. As we were shopping in Carlisle, we decided to go to the Park and have a look. They are magnificent. 

I wanted to take a photo from a bit further away as it is an excellent display, but there are two benches right in front of them and these were occupied by people who were obviously there for the day. I thought it was a bit odd that the benches face away from the flowers. I think I would rather be sitting somewhere where I could see them. Anyway they made a wide angle view impossible, so the 'other half' is in extras. I could have fit them together, but I have other things to do.
