Mainly dry with the odd shower. The place still sodden after yesterday’s rain though.
Bolused the last shed of cows and calves, but will hold off until tomorrow to put them out. Hopefully the field will have dried out a bit by then.
Left Kev on spreading dung while I ran Littlemiss into town after lunch. Back home then put a load of silage into this morning’s cows. Should keep them quiet until the morning .
I usually bolus the calves as there of a risk of killing them if it goes down the wind pipe. Don’t trust anyone else to do the job !
Kev was on bolusing the cows though as my back won’t stand up to the punishment and I’ve only just got my tooth put back in after last week’s smack in the face !
