Comfort Zone
I don’t often stray out of my comforter zone photographically, preferring ‘record’ type shots rather than ‘abstracts’.
However, as I was out walking today I was struck by the colour contrast between the ears and leaves of this cereal crop. So I got down low to focus on one of the ears and let the rest blur out...I like the little patches of red/brown colour in the mass of green.
I set a highish speed as the stems were blowing in the wind. An added bonus was the little tiny black bug on the side of the ear - right hand side, about half way up (you may need to go large to see it).
Just in case you thought I am going soft in my old age, the extra is a bit more ‘normal’ for me... :-)
