Overnight snow

We woke up in Edinburgh this morning to find that it had snowed overnight.
The city had a covering of white.
We went to the National Gallery firsdt to see the Exhibitions in the building nexct to Princess Street.
I took this shot over Princess Street Gardens from the side of the National Gallery as we waited for the free shuttle bus to take us to the Gallery of Modern Art (II) to see the exhibition of paintings by SJ Peploe (one of the Scottish Colourists). We enjoyed the exhibition very much.
After lunch in the museum cafe we took the shuttle bus back into the city and went to the National portrait gallery to look at some photographs by an Austrian photographer and the "Stop Your Tickling Jock" exhibition on Scottish comedians. An art packed day !

Cinema this evening again to see "Side Effect", then dinner at the Hard Rock cafe (they played a lot of 70s and 80s rock which suited us very well!).

Tomorrow ... Scotlands People Centre :-)
