Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes

Having spent the last few weeks full of hope for Spring and watching The Snowman out of season ( or so we thought), we opened the blinds this morning to a fresh and powdery white covering which made Inverleith looked rather like Narnia.

We girls made it through the snow for A's first Song Circle (which she slept through) and then, through a blizzard, to Amy's for lunch. Thankfully, we've had a wee breakthrough with E now requesting rather than refusing to wear her pink gloves though they are happily teamed with her choice of hat, invariably a straw boater! It might have helped if I'd have Sussex out the rain cover pre-blizzard too but it did mean A got to catch her first snowflake on her nose.
