Spring Grove

I often pass this local pond, one of a series fed by springs. It is a peaceful area with a lot of wildfowl. There are workmen in the area putting in pathways because the area round about gets very muddy. At the time of the Queen’s jubilee my WI placed this seat to celebrate, it bears a commemorative plaque. It is popular with the fishermen.
I was on my way to a friend’s house for tea and cake, just four of us this Tuesday.
