Flying high!

Sun this morning and pretty much all day!

We went to community singing and with the tent sides open it wasn’t unpleasant unlike last week. The weekly news letter from our singing leader said there were places available at all the sessions, as a consequence our group of harmony singers was doubled. All people we know from before so it was great to have an even stronger harmony voice. More teaching and revision was done so a good morning’s sing as usual.

Chris dropped me off at the play park in the St Ives Estate where Grace was taking the girls after Jude had her morning nap. When I got there they were sitting in a little tree house enjoying a snack.

Before leaving the girls had a swing. Eda likes to go very high, I daren’t watch, but by pointing my phone camera in the right direction I managed to get a few shots against the sky.
I was mainly content to just give Jude a gentle push.

A quick slide and then home where we found Chris in the drive with lots of branches off the Lilac and Hawthorne tree that overhand the drive.
A skip had been wrongly reversed up our drive and caused all the damage plus some damage to our neighbour’s wall!
Having found the right drive to deposit the skip he just drove off. Chris has contacted the company and they have apologised but my neighbour, who only had the wall built last year may need more than an apology.

A quiet afternoon as Grace took the girls out to meet friends. A bit fraught to start with as Jude had to be woken from her nap but they had a good time and I had tea (supper) ready for them when they got home. Could have done some gardening but sadly felt I had to get on top of the ironing whilst they were all out!

Extra just arrived from Grace
