Bug Eye

I’m fond of this bug-eyed face in a tree, and I think he is ageing. The bags under his eyes seem to be getting bigger, and he is sprouting a shock of green gumleaf hair. That’s a sign, I’m told, that he is stressed. Perhaps he’s afraid that a passing car will run into him in the night, and that’s why he sports the red reflector beauty spot on his cheek.
