Almost gone

This is our entrance road. The colours of the trees lining the road have been spectacular this year - or perhaps we have had more time to notice them. They have lifted our spirits every day.

Now we have to accept that they are almost gone. Most of the leaves have blown away, and of those that remain, there are more on the ground than on the trees.

But there will be next year...
