Howie's Back

Howie was so absorbed with his peanut that he lost his grip and fell backwards off his perch.  I decided to blip his recovery and not embarrass him with the blurred blip of him falling.  He didn't miss a beat on the way back up and never dropped his peanut so I don't think it phased him.  

Today was the first day in a long time that I didn't have terrible back pain so I'm feeling pretty good and looking forward to taking a walk tomorrow down by the marina.  The shot I got on Friday has made things much better.  The doctor asked me if I wanted to talk to a surgeon but I said no.  If the shots keep working I'd rather do that than have back surgery, especially at my age.  It's been such a nice day without pain.   I'd forgotten what it's like not to hurt.
