Down at the ponds

Late afternoon short walk, just before the rain. (I was a bit annoyed as the forecast was for rain much earlier so I didn't get washing done and out).
The wild garlic is coming out (and I picked some leaves for the meal), as is the cow parsley and other things.
The swans have hatched 2 cygnets in the last couple of days and they can be seen in the extra as they were returning to their nest. I was a bit worried about the family on Friday as the area was flooded but they must have built the nest just high enough.
