Goodbye Devon

Originally we were to stay at our accommodation until tomorrow, but the forecast of yet another wet and windy day made us decide on leaving today instead.  We met Colin in Dawlish with the idea of having a farewell coffee.  The outside table was not cosy, very drafty, dropping rain through the awning, very busy so no service, we gave up and said our goodbyes and hit the road.  The M5 was very busy, as were the services, we had a quick stop at Gloucester Services which was easier to get in and out of than the earlier very quick stop at Sedgemoor.

As a result of all this I didn't actually get to take a photo. Who wants to see the backend of the car in front, through the rain and spray?  So I have decided to blip a picture I took yesterday evening.  There was a brief period of setting sun over the River Exe, I spotted it from the lounge and popped out to take a couple of pics taking advantage of the light.  A better picture than a busy motorway I think!
