Dahlias out!

Dodging rain went over to Mum’s and planted out the dahlias. I hope they do me proud!   

Another grey chilly day but the wind had dropped.  We went exploring into Sussex a bit and visited the fabled Cowdray Farm shop which was another level!  Like the bougiest version of a Daylesford we wandered around it overhearing conversations about polo and the effect of the weather (too wet apparently) but then grabbing lovely artichokes and dark dark purple lavender.
