Hidden in Plain Sight

Sunny and quite warm all day. This morning, I was checking my gardens and partially hidden behind branches was this salmon bloom on a bush that produces light pink blooms. What a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed my fountain and grotto while eating breakfast and morning prayers. Then we got busy in the formal garden again. We completed five more raised bed and I pruned the knockout roses, butterfly bush, lilac and beauty berry shrub in other beds. Hubby cut grass at church, mulched and made me lunch. We had a picnic in the garden. I raked up most of the debris till the dust sent me inside. Boy am I whipped. Thankfully, we are getting BBQ dinners from our Catholic school. My daughter made the slaw and usually cooks more but she could not get off work. I dread going back out to gather our tools but that’s part of this task. I always make the kids clean up their toys. Guess this is one of those times I have to walk the walk and not just talk the talk. We will have two days to recuperate. Enjoy your weekend folks! Thanks for stopping by.
