BUTTERFLY AND LARKS
I nipped out again for some nature therapy despite the hostile weather, and didn't expect much in the way of wildlife, but saw this one Wall Brown butterfly sheltering near a wall, which I guess is where its name comes from. There were skylarks soaring out of the undergrowth to distract my attention away from their nests, but not nearly as many as last year. Perhaps the rest were huddling down and hoping for the best, waiting for better weather. I may have bought some scones and cake on the way home.
