Winter Returns

First a big thank you to everyone for the kind comments on yesterday's blip 300. It hit the spotlight page which I am really chuffed about.

Winter returned with a vengeance today with snow falling throughout the daylight hours plus bitter easterly gales causing blizzard conditions and the usual travel difficulties.

The only travel I did were brief forays into the garden to snap the flowers. I lasted about 5 minutes each time before being driven back indoors by the wind chill. A hard frost is forecast for tonight so fingers crossed the plant and wildlife survive.
