Oh no!

I had a lovely morning with my daughter doing nothing particular due to heavy rain,. After lunch we braved the strong wind and showers for a walk on an almost empty beach only to find this! Our wonderful Iron Men being taken away and replaced with tall metal cylinders. Until recently I would have gone away and worried about what was happening - but not now, I headed over to chat with the workmen who reassuringly told me they are replacing all the foundations as some are now falling over. Phew!
The extra is evidence of how windy it really was, but it is a bit of a cheat because it was taken by my daughter on her phone - a rare pic of us both.
