Why did the goslings cross the path?

The grass was greener and the grazing was greater on the other side.

The youngsters are really too big now to huddle under mum's wings but they do still huddle together in groups of three or four.

Dull, damp and chilly ..... only the garden benefitted from the weather today, I've had to put the heating back on ..... almost unheard of for me to have the heating on in May.
