Crab Apple Blossom

I always seem to get it wrong ..... went to Greenbank Gardens this morning only to discover that they don't open  on a Wedensday so no coffee and cake there.

I had a walk in the woodland where I spotted this old crab apple tree, just outside the Greenbank Garden wall, covered in pink blossom.

In need of a cuppa I headed to Rouken Glen where I bought two plants and a carry out latte. A spot of gardening this afternoon as I searched for the best spots for my new iris and poppy.
