Playing with the puppy

We drove up to Manchester stopping in the Peak District on the way to tidy up the commemorative bench and to call in at A’s and see Wellington, the new great Dane. He is by no means fully grown but already quite a size. Fortunately he is very placid and friendly and wants nothing more than to be made a fuss of. The bench maintenance was done in the pouring rain which was a shame as Lathkill dale is a beautiful spot. At least we had a nice lunch in the pub in Over Haddon.
