Gower Heights
We headed out to the Gower peninsula today. We walked above the beach away from the village of Rhossili where we'd started. This is a view of the village and Worm's Head.
Our return was via the beautiful beach of Rhossili Bay. The extra is of the shipwreck Helvetia. No lives were lost when the ship was abandoned in November 1887.
We then went to cross the causeway to Worm's Head. Looking at the terrain I made the decision to sit this one out. I'd recently injured my knee so wasn't prepared to do so again this early in the holiday. But it was a glorious day so I just sat and waited for my other half to complete the walk.
