I don't often blip people, especially not when I've views like the two extras.

But.

I also don't often take Octogenarians scrambling for the first time. I'm not gonna lie, I was apprehensive and I did a lot of observing on the walk in, but Gil was solid and steady, listened and took advice well. She's climbed the Pike with me before and completed the Munroes since retiring. Two years ago she solo hiked the Bob Graham. I figure when somebody like G decides she wants to give something a go it's a honour to help.

We had a fabulous day wandering our way up Grade 2 territory on Cam Crag Ridge. The only other person we met happened to be a guiding friend, hilarious.
We set the world to rights (pair of old Lefties) and laughed a lot. I've a feeling G will be getting some more use from that bright yellow lid.
