Swallow #60
Arrived safely at our HPB base in Norfolk for our week of birdwatching. We stopped for lunch at a lovely pub in Ropsley near Grantham called the Green Man, our first meal out since last summer - it was very safe and the food was fantastic.
Another two hours drive and we were at the golf complex at Barnham Broom. It looks like a nice place and we have an apartment overlooking the golf course. Unfortunately the WiFi seems to be non existent where we are so I won’t be doing much commenting and reviewing of journals during the next week unless it is fixed. I’ve come to the clubhouse to check if it was a router reboot needed and it was down everywhere, or just at our end of the site and I have my answer.
We’ve seen quite a few birds from our balcony and it seems a pair of swallows are nesting in the eaves of the balcony and come and sit on the railings and shout. It’s quite fun to watch.
In extras is the view from our balcony.
