Gustav Holst

A trip into Cheltenham to have a gentle meander around and see what we could see.

In Imperial Gardens there is this fine statue of Gustav Holst which was erected in 2008.   It is very lifelike and I found myself watching the baton to see when the orchestra should start.

When we stopped for lunch we were glad to linger over our coffee as the heavens opened with hail, thunder and lightening.   So it's back to the cottage and a good book.
