Colonel Hathi's march

As it is only a short distance away from our holiday cottage we had pre-booked tickets for Sudeley Castle and were lucky that our visit coincided with the Elephant Family exhibition.   These amazing sculptures are part of a much larger herd which is going to be exhibited across London later this summer.   There are 30 elephants at Sudeley and they are all absolutely beautiful but this group reminded me of my favourite part of the Jungle Book film.

There are more in extras along with a cute little pair of metal owls hidden away in a corner of the garden.

A good day out with lots of English history we didn't know and some beautiful gardens.
