At first there were three .......

...... and then suddenly number four poked its head out from under mum’s wings.

Everyone who passed by the swan family stopped to take a photo ...... mostly on phones but there were one or two guys with serious photographic gear. I have it on great authority that the cygnets are two days old.

Rouken Glen pond is also home to a pair of Canada Geese and their three goslings and there is certainly no love lost between the the two dads!
