A close shave
I started the day getting through more homeless washing then about an hour after Asha started the school day, her teacher called to say could we collect her as she was feeling unwell. So Danny grabbed her on his way home from an English class and they both dropped me for my birthday haircut. Chris had gifted me a hairdresser session as a birthday present so I bit the bullet and went for a mini head shave, just a little undercut. The woman who did it struggles with Spanish and hearing (& so masks make things very hard), so asked if I could go with her to the car garage post shave...glad to be able to help her out, she was such a lovely lady!
Am afternoon with the kids, bit of TV with Asha, ice cream and park. Plus both kids are creating post for Mamilie (my french grandma). Asha's made a rainbow card and Nate decided she'd probably appreciate a paper airplane, ha!
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Bring able to wash people's clothes for them.
2) Ticking a little bucket list thing with the undercut.
3) Asha feeling a bit better tonight.
