Poppy II
After all that business regarding the poppy's unfortunate hirsuteness, we can now move on to its other smoother, softer, more glamorous features.
Soft-hued petals, pollen stems and curvy-shaped thingies whose function I can't be sure of, but when they're all put together, they make for a much more polished and attractive package, free from those unattractive, burdening bristles.
Just because poppies might have an ugly little secret, doesn't mean they can't also shamelessly flaunt their other more gorgeous bits.
It's a big part of the secret to how they remain the crowd-pleasers they are, all over the planet.
