A treat

After a good catchup with Digitaldaze I popped out for an ice cream.
Depressed to see in the Australian budget that borders will remain closed until 2022. While I can go back as a citizen, the quarantine costs and flights are excessive, to the point of being prohibitive. No mention if we’ll be allowed in without quarantine if we’re vaccinated.. gutted.. as is the Australian expat community. And contrary to popular belief, most of us are not rich, we do normal jobs for the same or less pay but we’re vilified in the media.
