Try zooming in or full screening or looking on a laptop... Cos this is an awful awful quality photo from the school, but it's her year group and that's sweet. Also, I have nothing else because the little turd was too busy having fun for more than "love you.. I'm doing baking" then "goodnight mama". Kidding of course, I am delighted that she is happy this week.

I heard from my friend that this evening Katie and Nia got to spend about half an hour playing on the school lawn together. They were doing long jumps and trashed their trousers. They have arranged a sweetie swap on Sunday. And Katie was apparently charging round like a loon as though she seriously needed to burn energy.

When she briefly text me, "me and m are baking against d and a"... I'm hoping that my confidence in her content aura is justified. But this week, the little moments she does text she seems much happier.
