Mother's Day

Aaah, flowers and a card saying "Dear Mum. Sorry I can't be with you on Mother's Day, but I've got no washing that needs doing and I'm alright for cash... " Any points for guessing which was from Josh and which was from Nathan???

Sold my car today :-( all for the greater good of course, in terms of costs and debt and mixing it up with teenage drivers. My fab little Mini, fully loaded with options, is gone and I nearly burst into tears but there will be flash little cars in my future.

I also played a tough singles tennis match against an improving young Russian called Tanya. The grannies beat me yesterday so it is nice to win by a small margin instead of losing badly. It took me 3 sets but I still ran afterwards, as planned.

Whew! Resting now.
