Three hills

A Glasgow Rambers meander in the lesser known parts of the Kilpatrick hills including Cochno, Dunellan and Craigmore. We met one person in 6 and half hours, a fisherman on the causeway between Cochno Loch and Jaw Reservoir. The views were stunning and not what we expected given the mediocre weather forecast – Ben Lomond (blip) to the west, the Pentland hills to the east and directly in front of us on the far horizon, Ailsa Craig.
The extra blip is the clever kid goat near the car park who found a way to access a few green leaves.
My equivalent of a few green leaves was half a Gunster Cornish pasty, it was delicious, I should have taken the whole one. I don’t think I will ever make picnic sandwiches again.
