Wood in the woods!

These are some oak logs, owned by my walking buddy and her hubby (as are the woods themselves) which will be stacked in due course. They have just replaced their wood fired central heating boiler so have no pressing need for lots of logs at the moment.
After an early walk, I went back to the cleaning, and in one bedroom found evidence of mice running along the beams! I haven’t seen a mouse, but everything is getting cleaned to within an inch of its life.
Another rain, cloud, windy day, but the good news is that the sunflowers in the field behind us have now germinated and are starting to grow. Roll on summer!
