Opposite our friend Kathy's house, at a sunny moment late this mostly cloudy afternoon. (I could not avoid the sun, as is evident in the image.) Marylee and Kathy played scrabble, while her sister and I spoke our rusty German together (at least for me a rare opportunity to resurrect it).
