11th Century Anglo Saxon faith

My blip for today is taken from the great war memorial overlooking yarm on teesside. This church is dated from the 11th century AD. My interest in buildings, particularly old buildings stems mainly from the attention to detail placed on the design. This church is just exceptional that is not unlike the detail found in more famous buildings such as York Minster.
I hope you enjoy my blip for today as much as I did visiting this building for the first time.
