Blue Bridge

The wind may have dropped so today may have been nicer at the beech than it was yesterday. Anyway I decided not to risk it.

A couple of weeks have passed since I saw the moorhen with het chiscks, so it was time to check up on them. Well the chicks have left the nest, but I could not see any sign of any of the family. I did see a duck with three quite grown up ducklings. Hopefully they are large enough to survive through to adulthood now.

A bit more colour at Johnston Gardens now than the last time I visited. The gardens are in a valley sheltered from the wind so it was quite pleasant there.
