Fallen Blossom

Below the branches of the tree the ground is a pale pink carpet of fallen blossom. No grass is visible beneath the blossom.

I had a totally different picture in mind when I went out this morning. Instead I was attracted to this picture by the almost snow like appearance of the trees and shrubs. My "High Key" mono image for Monday. Apart from converting it from colour to mono it has had almost no processing. The in camera exposure is a full one stop larger than suggested by the camera  to give the image a slightly over exposed result.

Thanks to Carolina for hosting, and also for the link to the tutorial which I did consult before setting out today.

Sunny this morning with cloudy intervals, quite cool after the warm few days last week.

As recommended by UK governments I was very alert while I was out. Despite being alert I did not see a single virus passing by. That is not to say there were none, but I didn't see any. I did see slightly more cars than usual though.
