Garden visitor

No contest for today’s blip. I was busily digging, planting and watering this afternoon when I needed something from the shed and found a visitor on the wall! She was happy for me to sit not a metre away from her, watching each other for ages. I need to mow the lawn but if I do it’ll scare her off.

I texted the photo to a friend and she said the local duck family has diminished from 12 babies to one. I hope this isn’t the mum now childless.
