Pick a perch; any perch...
One of those days. We got a message from the carpenter to say he would be a couple of days late with the doors and shelves as he had had to do some work for another client. Let’s just say that W was rather less than impressed. I have been trying since we moved in to get the gas added to my electricity account; I decided to chase them today and after twice waiting on the phone for half an hour and then getting cut off I finally got some progress using online chat. The flooring man turned up to fit the final flooring in the hallway and one bathroom; he was worried he didn’t have enough to finish the bathroom but managed, but wasn’t impressed by the screed laid in the hall by his colleagues so had to try and level it; He’ll be back tomorrow to lay the floor. In the meantime we spent time sorting out all the kitchen cupboards to find places for everything.
At 4pm we decided we’d had enough so drove over to East Runton and walked along the beach to Cromer and back. A lovely walk; these seagulls looked as though they were well socially distanced along one of the groynes.
