The Last Tulip

Yesterday, the last of my tulips finally bloomed.  I’d wondered what colour it might be and now I know; the cream one on the left of the shot.  It is well over a month since the first red one came out and the others have lasted really well but the rather windy day has finally put paid to them.  The two remaining petals on this red one lasted only about another half hour, and the pink and white striped one lasted through until the afternoon but is now petal-less too.

For those who were concerned about the sheep yesterday they all seem to have calmed down although they are still keeping a respectful distance.  And one of the teenagers still thinks it’s amusing to headbutt the ewe in the bum occasionally.
