. . . and friends! These calves have just been put outside and they've obviously not seen anything like Lottie before!

I love to see the cattle all back out in the fields. They are usually brought in in October. It's a long winter in Orkney! It must be a long, very boring existence, being in a byre or a slatted court until the end of April. Now finally, the weather is improving and there is enough grass for them. Hopefully no more wintry showers!
