Celandine and purslane

Today Lottie and I escaped the worst of the wind by walking through John's woodland garden. The noise of the wind in the trees was terrific! 

Lovely to see the spreading carpet of celandine, speckled with pink purslane. 

An afternoon of baking rock buns and a Victoria sponge, requested by Ruth. She's starting to get visitors and needs homebakes to offer them!
