Day of rest

It was not quite a day of rest today as I am still catching up with work. I got a couple of clocks done. This mechanism is from a Balloon clock circa 1900 with a French movement in it. The cylinder platform escapement is the part detached from the mechanism which has been reassembled. There was time to take my mother across to the church. I think she enjoyed her flowers and simnal cake. This afternoon I hope to get to watch the rugby and be finished by the time my stepson comes for a flying visit.
