Last but one

......of the numerous bouquets and flower arrangements I have received over the last 4 weeks. This one is in the middle of the island in the kitchen, a circular display in a little round hat box with a ribbon. Only the carnations still hanging on, looking ok.

What a horrible rainy dark and dismal day its been today. The rain battering the bedroom windows just after 6am woke me up, tossed and turned after that, didnt really get back off to sleep.....came downstairs just before 9, dressed in leggings and a thick fluffy jumper.

Had a cuppa, then faffed around a while, before deciding I was going to have a lazy day, so sat and watched James Martin on tv, made myself some porridge, had a chat with "our 3",
filled out some forms that needed to be done, wrote a couple of letters, copied some papers,
wrote some birthday cards, ordered a couple of presents on line.....before I realised it was 1.30.....lunchtime!

Egg, bacon & the rest of the tinned spaghetti on toast.......cooked the whole packet of bacon as I decided to make a spaghetti carbonara for my tea later.

Not felt great today.....think Im tired and my stomach isn't very happy, very gurgly, sorry probably TMI !

I eventually got dressed properly, almost mid afternoon, the rain stopped about 4pm, so I decided to pop out to the shop.....and collected a coffee too :-)

Came back and settled down to watch the Man City game this evening, they are making hardwork of getting over the line :-/
Now watching hubs team v Liverpool, 0-1 but they have had their chances, second half to come.....missing all the shouting that hub would have been doing :-(

Didnt enjoy my carbonara, left half of it, had some jelly and a tangerine..... :-/

Hopefully I will be back to normal after a decent nights sleep as I am meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow.
