Tulips

We visited the Tin Shed Gallery a couple miles beyond Calgary bay to view the The Flower show, an exhibition by a number of artists of ceramics and paintings. Each piece of ceramic work held a selection of fresh flowers, the paintings on the wall showed plants and flowers. Viewed as a whole it looked beautiful

I spotted a ceramic vase in the shape of a fish, yellow, it now has a little yellow dot on it for me to collect in a couple months. There was also a painting of ox eyed daisies that we both liked but no yellow dot, although now see I don’t have a clear photo of either of them.

It was good to see C who opened her gallery last year, she lives with her husband in the middle of nowhere, we have several pieces of her work, one of which is a very large ceramic plate wrapped in rugs under the bed, a great shame, although thinking about it we could bring it out again, the cats are less frantic now.
