Away from home

Up sharp to get the final bits packed into the van before heading off on an actual trip - first night away from home since last September. Remembered to blip my birthday flowers which after a quick tidy up and water change are looking quite good again. Didn’t remember to blip yesterday so am back blipping on Saturday 8th.

Quick couple of pit stops en route and we arrived at the campsite in Beauly just before 3.30. It’s beside the river and very tranquil. The sun even came out and we were able to sit outside with a cup of tea whilst we waited for our friends to arrive. The beauty of the Motorhome is you park up, fill up with water, plug in the electric and you’re good to go - none of this levelling and using ramps like we had to do with the caravan!

Once Stuart and Linda arrived, we enjoyed an hour or two in the sun with some rather lovely GnTs before moving inside the van for dinner. Rather a lot of wine was consumed hence the reason I forgot to post my blip.
