What a treat

We collected our afternoon tea today and decided to make it a real occasion by setting up a table with a tablecloth and everything. There was so much delicious food - got through the sandwiches, mini quiches and sausage rolls but didn’t finish the scones and cakes. Still that means more for tomorrow!
Didn’t help that we supplemented the goodies with some hummus and pita bread and crisps!

We watched Avengers Infinity Wars whilst enjoying the food with a glass or two of rather tasty Prosecco.

Didn’t feel like going fir a walk today but did make a granary loaf (from a packet mix) - turned out looking like a proper loaf. Think it helps to mix it properly with the dough hook in the mixer rather than trying to do it by hand!!

Lovely to see the neighbours for a bit whilst we were out clapping at 8 and then a lovely hot bath.
