I didn't need to visit my aunt today, as her son was 'on duty', so Carolyn and I went for an extended walk in this morning.
Sunny, but not warm enough to risk walking without a coat.

Carolyn had Barney( her daughter's dog) with her so Jorgie was rather hyper. 
As it was our last chance for a decent walk for a while (because the new puppy is being collected on Sunday), we covered 8.5 miles.

Jorgie was in a state of high excitement for most of the way so I let her have a swim to cool down. If anything it had the reverse effect !

Pleased I took a few snaps because my plans to visit the hares had to be abandoned when the rain came in.
