Hard Times At Linfield U.

When a popular, beloved Shakespeare professor brought forth student charges of sexual harassment and misconduct of the Linfield University board members (in nearby McMinnville, Oregon), he was quickly and summarily terminated. The students, faculty, and community are outraged, and are demanding the removal of the school’s president and at least one board member. One donor with VERY deep pockets has pulled her support, and I suspect others will soon. It is a very ugly stain on an otherwise beautiful Oregon college. Some predict that if it is not resolved correctly, it could mean the end to this prestigious school founded 163 years ago. I hope that is not the case.
