Onions?

As we were driving back home today after a short outing, we saw these red orbs along the road. Onions. They must have spilled from a farm truck. Oh yes, we went back for them. Well, I went after them myself, but Tom cheered me on. Hard times, gotta be on the lookout for free onions. Right?
